Laurel Hill State Park: Lake Trail Professional Review and Guide
"The Lake Trail follows Laurel Hill Lake for more than a mile and then pretty Laurel Hill Creek for awhile before branching away for the final third of a mile, providing diverse and lovely scenery for the entire hike. To reach the trailhead of the Lake Trail, stay on the parking lot side of the bridge and cross the road. Walk down the bank to see the trailhead and sign for the Lake Trail. Turn right and walk toward the lake, looking for the left that leads up onto the narrow, single-track trail. If you walk down closer to the lake first, you can find a side trail that comes up from the bank and joins the main in just 200 feet."
