This is a little tricky and extra technically challenging right now because of all of the fallen trees, so pay extra close attention or you risk losing the trail. There are some steep portions and places where you will be walking on large slick rocks. Wear good hiking shoes especially if it has rained recently as sections will be underwater and slippery. I went last month and it was definitely muddy and slippery. There are several stream crossings, as well. The views are all very pretty and, despite all the issues navigating the trail, the trip is so fun and worthwhile.
