Manderfield Preserve Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This trail is a well-kept secret in Bucks County. It’s a fairly short hike through the 54-acre property, best enjoyed as a meandering stroll to take in all of the flora. The quiet woodland is also home to springs, wildflowers, and a mature oak forest. There is also an abundance of vibrant and varied mosses throughout the entire trek. The park boasts a variety of spring ephemeral flowers, which bloom quickly in the early warmth of spring but also die off quickly.

A deer exclosure is a fenced-off area that prevents deer from browsing. It allows vegetation to grow without being snacked on. It’s remarkable how different the trail is through the exclosure."
