Townsend Park Loop Trail Professional Review and Guide
"Townsend Park offers short but pleasant hiking trails, a pond with a picnic shelter, and accessibility for the handicapped for both fishing and picnicking. It also has two gardens, one with benches, the other with a gazebo. This small park is very well maintained and pleasant to enter. The landscaped gardens and seating complement the hiking trails and pond, creating a mix of amenities that should accommodate most needs for a few hours or so of outdoor enjoyment. The hike begins along a path that passes through the first garden and ends next to the pond."
