Shawnee State Park

Shawnee State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This is a relatively moderate hike, although there is one section of steep hills—and you get to pass through at least a portion of it twice. Along the way, though, you’ll cross a small stream and later follow its winding path; pass by a cove on 451-acre Shawnee Lake where you’re likely to see fish, turtles, and ducks; and perhaps see deer, turkeys, and squirrels.

This area is open to hunting, so you may share the woods with turkey hunters from late April to late May and with deer and small game hunters from October to December."
