This hike is within the Fox Chapel Flower and Wildlife Reserve. It is a short walk through a spectacular display of trilliums of various species and is pleasantly punctuated with the delicate Virginia bluebell. You’ll also stroll along Stony Camp Run. Walk across the road from the parking area to the trailhead. A plaque in a boulder beside Stony Camp Run commemorates Richard Boyles, the first manager of the borough of Fox Chapel; he was largely responsible for the preservation of the woodland upon which this hike travels.
