The park tour begins along the lake, works its way back up through the cabin area and ascends Sullivan Ridge. A great descent down wild blackberry-lined trail leads over a deep dirt berm and out to the beaver-dammed Abbot Hollow Run. A climb through a beautiful stand of quaking aspens turns onto Bushkirk Road, which slowly descends to the Abbot Hollow Trail. When you finish the ride, check out the environmental education building near the lake. If the season permits, a swim in the lake is most enjoyable after a gritty ride through the park. Highlights: beaver dams, evidence of the massive tornado destruction of 1985, swimming, boating, and fishing at the lake, camping and cabin rentals on site, food and boat rental concessions, and a great environmental education building and program with evening and weekend activities.

Short and fun trails to hike or bike! Local natralist sometimes gives nature walks and presentations. Nice place to camp.
