This awesome loop is geared just right for the novice rider or adventurous family looking to share some quality time in a beautiful woodland setting. The region got its makeover about 21,000 years ago when the continental glacier grated over the face of the earth. Many scars from the 2,000-foot-thick sheet of ice remain on the landscape today, including ponds, swamps, and peat bogs. Highlights: the glacially carved landscape of the area; numerous fishing and boating ponds; wildlife viewing in the Maple Run Swamp; close to Promised Land State Park and its amenities, which include swimming, boating, fishing, camping, food concession, and hiking trails. Tread: the entire ride follows wide dirt and grass snowmobile trails.

Nice ride. The description implies it is relatively level. There are several hills - although not difficult, the freshly laid rock (possibly to fill in wash-outs) is loose and makes hills a bit challenging. It also appears there is maintenance being done to widen or make new trails. I will go back.
