Sugar Run Sneak Professional Review and Guide
"A visit to the Ohiopyle Valley would not be complete for any true adventurer without a trip down the rugged Lower Yough. The Lower Yough is no easy float trip, and when the water is running, the hydraulics get hungry! If you are up for shooting Class III and IV rapids, have a boat as well as a mountain bike, this is your ride. A local volunteer worked with the state park officials to design and build a singletrack trail that will legally take you from the parking lot down to the rail-trail. This was a smart move by the state as they were able to successfully accommodate the hiker and mountain biker. Highlights: a one-way ride designed for whitewater and mountain bike adventures; spectacular waterfall. Tread: incredible, steep, wooded singletrack that turns into ultrasmooth rail-trail."
