Millersburg Professional Review and Guide
"Millersburg is a picturesque little town in a valley between Berry and Mahantango mountains. On a warm day, the gazebo on the square is a pleasant place to relax after an enjoyable ride. Millersburg's greatest fame comes from Millersburg Ferry, which carries passengers across the wide Susquehanna River.
It's a long way between bridges on the river, and the ferry, which uses the only remaining wooden-hulled ferryboats in the country, is both a working ferry and a tourist attraction. It's not the most impressive piece of machinery in the world, but it does the job. The crossing takes about twenty minutes, and the biking on the other side of the river isn't good. Bicyclists can ride the ferry for a fee, but it is seasonal, running from March until October."
