A small, suburban park campground situated along the banks of a creek, Mill Creek would be an ideal place to bring children for their first camping experience. Not to be confused with the Central Park located in midtown Manhattan (which doesn’t allow camping), the Central Park of interest here is located just south of the city of Lancaster in southeastern Pennsylvania. This large (544 acres) suburban park is surrounded by residences and lies between the Conestoga River and Mill Creek. The park is home to many different habitats, including wetlands, forest, and open meadows, and there is no shortage of things to do here.
