Ringing Rocks Ramble Professional Review and Guide
"This ride between Kintnersville and Uhlerstown is among the most spectacular you'll find in Bucks County, with the Delaware River and Canal stretching out along the left side of the road and steep palisades rising above your right shoulder for the first 4 miles of the ride. For the second 4 miles, the canal heads inland and hugs the bluffs, while the road continues along the river. Its beauty and ease make it an ideal early-season ride, as well as a wonderful introduction to the charms of bicycle touring. At Uhlerstown pause to gaze at the historic collection of houses and canal buildings before passing through the Uhlerstown covered bridge. Terrain: generally flat to gently rolling, except for one steep climb. Traffic is very light on the second half of the route, although it can be moderately heavy on the first half. To avoid cars for the first 8 miles ride on the canal towpath."
