Kinzua Bridge State Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Please understand, this hike is every bit as challenging as the signs at the trailhead warn. “Hikers on the Kinzua Creek Trail,” the sign reads, “should be in good physical condition, wear sturdy boots, and use caution due to steep trail sections.” You don’t have to be some cross between Daniel Boone, a mountain climber, and a marathon runner to do this hike.
The pathway is gravel in spots, so it’s not like you’re climbing over boulders and slogging through mud, but you’re walking from the top of a ridge to the valley below. It’s a long way down in a short space of time."
