Kiasutha Recreation Area Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This campground is a series of loops. Some of its nonelectric sites, mainly those on the outer edges of the loops, afford the most privacy. This is a very large recreation area, and its day-use facilities draw a lot more people than just campers.
People come to swim, to play games on the large grassy opening, and to fish. There are no “official” hiking trails, but anglers and others have created some pretty identifiable footpaths along the water’s edge and through the woods that you can explore. The requisite boat launch—every spot on the Allegheny Reservoir seems to have one—means you can use this campground as a base for time spent on the water."
