Trough Creek State Park Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Trough Creek is a beautiful state park with plenty of things to keep you occupied, from fishing in its creek to hiking on its trails to exploring some of its interesting historical sites. Trough Creek State Park is yet another of Pennsylvania’s sweet outdoor spots. The park environs lie along the course of Great Trough Creek as it tumbles for several miles to Raystown Lake.

For the length of the park, the creek passes through a beautiful gorge that bisects the escarpment of Terrace Mountain. The sides of the gorge vary from steep hillsides that are covered with hemlocks and rhododendrons to tall rock cliffs."
