Penn-Roosevelt State Park

Penn-Roosevelt State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This 41-acre park is located in an isolated area of the Seven Mountains region known as the Stone Creek Kettle. But it’s surrounded by 97,000-acre Rothrock State Forest, so if you’re looking for low-impact, quiet, isolated recreation, this is a wonderful place to visit. The Rothrock is home to seven state-designated natural areas and one wild area.

The 3.5-acre pond holds some native brook trout. They’re not big, but they are fun to catch. Sites 11 and 12 offer the most privacy. Registration is done on the honor system."
