Raccoon Creek State Park Campground Professional Review and Guide
"Raccoon Creek provides visitors with an extensive array of
recreational opportunities that include swimming, fishing,
and boating (only electric or nonpowered boats) on its small,
101-acre lake. The swimming area is ADA-accessible, and the park also has an accessible fishing pier.
Hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding are the primary land-based activities. The park’s 44 miles of hiking trails encompass several loops, the longest of which is about 19 miles and can be used for backpacking. Mountain bikers will find a variety of multiuse trails that offers a range of experiences from service roads to steep climbs and descents. Horseback riders will find 16 miles of trails available for their use. The park also has picnic areas and offers an extensive array of interpretive programs."
