Boyd Big Tree Preserve Conservation Area Professional Review and Guide

"Located only 8 miles or so from downtown Harrisburg, the Boyd Big Tree Preserve Conservation Area is a gem of a recreation area. From the parking area, this hike follows the Pond Loop Trail to the Creek Trail and the Coach Trail along the western edge of the conservation area.

After a short climb, this hike joins the Janie Trail and follows it along the ridge to the eastern edge of the conservation area. A short stretch on the Upper Spring Trail takes you to the East Loop Trail and then back to the parking lot."
