If you’re looking for easy access to the amenities and activities in the north end of the park, this is the campground of choice. The Pines campground is the first campground you reach as you enter Promised Land State Park on PA 390 from Interstate 84 to the north. It is located on the left (east) side of the road just before the little hamlet of Promised Land. In recent years, this has become my favorite of the four campgrounds at Promised Land State Park. There is not a bad site to be found in the entire campground.
