Worlds End State Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Located along the banks of S- shaped Loyalsock Creek in a narrow valley, this park gets attention from whitewater rafters March through May, when water levels are sufficient to offer some fun. Later in the year—especially during the June mountain laurel bloom and the peak of the fall foliage season in October—there are several overlooks worth visiting: Loyalsock Canyon, Worlds End, High Rock or High Knob, and Butternut.
The overlooks are accessed via narrow dirt and gravel roads. The roads get no maintenance in winter and can be well groomed or rough, depending on when you are there, but the views at the end are worth it."
