Joseph E. Ibberson Conservation Area Loop Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This hike follows the Victoria Trail from just outside the parking area up to the Peters Mountain Ridge. From the ridge, it backtracks the Victoria Trail for a half mile and then follows several easy park trails back to the parking area.
Located about 25 minutes north of Harrisburg, the Joseph E. Ibberson Conservation Area hosts a network of trails along the north side of Peters Mountain. Most of the trails have been created from old forest roads, so they are generally wide open and the grades gentle. The park is, consequently, a great place for an outing with the family, and it offers hikes ranging from less than a mile to several miles in length. This hike makes use of the trails around the perimeter of the 350-acre conservation area, and includes a side trip up to the Appalachian Trail on the crest of Peters Mountain."
