The North Country National Scenic Trail is a behemoth of a footpath, winding though seven states on its way from the eastern edge of New York to North Dakota. Pennsylvania ranks third in terms of the number of off-road trail miles established. This particular section takes you across state game lands to the Pennsylvania-Ohio border, where you can say you stood with one foot in each state. This particular section of the trail offers some nice views of Little Beaver Creek, an area where brick miners dug for the clay that kept them in business, and wildlife—all at considerably less than 65 miles per hour.
