"Every mountain biker in the Philadelphia area should get involved with the Fairmount Park Commission to help keep access to the trails in the area secure for mountain bikers. This section of the park has some of the finest mountain biking trails in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Cyclists should get involved with local groups like Friends of the Wissahickon to promote mountain biking in the park. With such a wide variety of trails, this is a wonderful place for riders of all abilities to pursue their sport. Terrain: Singletrack, doubletrack, as well as dirt and paved roads."
