Ski Liberty / Liberty Mountain Resort Ski Area Professional Review and Guide
"Just north of the Maryland border in Carroll Valley lies Pennsylvania’s Liberty Mountain Resort—one of Baltimore and Washington, DC’s closest alpine destinations. The resort was acquired in 1972 when it was known as Charnita Ski Area, re-opening in 1974 as Ski Liberty. Snow Time, Inc., the same company that claims nearby Ski Roundtop and Whitetail Resorts in South-Central Pennsylvania also owns Liberty, allowing for multi-resort season passes. It’s a mountain of limited terrain, with 17 slopes and trails and a little over 600 feet of vertical. L"
