Silver Lake Nature Center is a 235-acre complex within the 460-acre Silver Lake Park and bordered by Black Ditch Park on the north end. Mill Creek enters Magnolia Lake from Black Ditch Park, then flows south through the nature center into Silver Lake. Restrooms, lakeside benches, a playground, and a picnic area are on the south side of the launch in Silver Park. You’ll find an abundance of waterfowl, wading birds, songbirds, turtles, and wetland wildflowers and vegetation along these lakes.
