A great ride, considering it was designed for ATVs. The Willow Creek Trail runs one way, which makes it relatively safe for all riders. The ride remains in the woods for the most part and is filled with numerous tight turns, bends, steep climbs, descents, and berms. The aggressive rider will really enjoy the berms as they allow you to rail the corners with speed without eating bark. The trail has been well marked with yellow diamond blazes on the trees, so it’s hard to get lost. The trail is a designated ATV trail and ATV users have the right-of-way. Mountain bikes are allowed here but you must always yield to any motorized rider. Your best bet may be a weekday ride. It really is a nice ride, you just have to take it for what it’s worth. Highlights: fast rolling doubletrack; quiet woodlands trail; mud holes and burly berms. Tread: the tread varies from sand fire road to hardpack loam, and loose, rocky doubletrack. Conditions change often due to the rain and amount of ATV traffic.
