Hopewell Boat Access Campground Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This campground can be accessed on foot, it’s true. But it’s not at all easy. If you walk in here, you will find yourself climbing in and out of valleys, experiencing frequent and noticeably difficult elevation changes along the way. Once you’re in, it’s still hard to get right on the water given the steep, rocky hillsides.
Suffice it to say that if you boat in, you won’t often have a lot of competition for campsites. You might spot some interesting and largely undisturbed wildlife though. Just be sure to take along a weather radio. A little warning about approaching storms gives you the opportunity to prepare your boat and campsite for rough patches."
