Locust Lake State Park

Locust Lake State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This park is a birder’s delight. More than one hundred species have been documented within the park’s boundaries, including sixteen species of birds of prey. This is also a popular park in fall with hunters.

Virtually the entire park is open to hunting. Some sections permit just bow hunters and those armed with muzzleloaders; check with the park office before heading out. White-tailed deer, rabbits, squirrels, turkeys, and grouse are common species."
