The Audubon Center at Mill Grove

The Audubon Center at Mill Grove Professional Review and Guide

"Take this hike and you’ll traverse the land that John James Audubon once called home. The famous naturalist lived here from 1803 to 1806, and it is believed to be where he fell in love with and began sketching birds and nature. This hike is more of a quiet, peaceful stroll through a lovely natural area.

From the parking area, walk a few feet to the right and you’ll see the Audubon Loop Trail; take it to the left. This part of the route is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Be mindful of the steep incline near the copper ruins. The hike turns before the hill, but if you are in a wheelchair or with a stroller, it can creep up on you."
