Lake Towhee Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This 549-acre park is home to 50-acre Lake Towhee, where you can fish for warmwater species like bass and panfish, tool around in a canoe or kayak, and take in some wildlife. Mallards, black ducks, Canada geese, and herons are numerous, as are assorted frogs and turtles.
Exploring the nature area affords the opportunity to see white-tailed deer, squirrels, and a great number of songbirds. Like the other parks in Bucks County offering camping, this one is also near Nockamixon State Park, which has a nearly 1,500-acre lake and other attractions but no camping outside of cabins. You can stay here and explore that bigger world, too."
