Alpine Mountain Ski Resort Professional Review and Guide

"Alpine Mountain can pretty much guarantee two things. You won’t lose sight of anyone in your group on the small, single-face mountain, and you’ll be able to ski the trails five times over with no lift lines. It’s one of Pennsylvania’s oldest ski areas, having opened up shop here in the southern Poconos during the late 1950s under the name Timber Hill Ski Area.

Nearby at Evergreen Park, a cross-country skiing center operates when a five-inch snow base covers its nine-hole golf course. Penn Hills Resort offers ice skating with rentals and lessons in its indoor rink as well. This eTrail contains a thorough description of the resort including driving directions, mountain statistics, trail profiles, extensive lodging"
