Twin Lakes Recreation Area Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"You won’t see any large RVs here, thanks to the railroad underpass on the access road, where the clearance is only 10 feet. Located in scenic Elk County in the southeast corner of the Allegheny National Forest, Twin Lakes is a somewhat heavily used recreation area that offers campers interested in hiking, swimming, and fishing abundant opportunities. Although it can be fairly busy during the summer, several features make it quite suitable for tent camping."
