Huckleberry Mountain

Huckleberry Mountain Professional Review and Guide

"A long, round-trip day hike in the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness. There are wonderful views from atop Huckleberry Mountain, a long north-south ridge. Hike this past a myriad of colorful flowers in spring and summer, including paintbrush, daisies, columbine, and foxglove.

Although it was completely fogged in the day I hiked the trail, the Forest Service claims you can see several Washington peaks, including Mount Rainier. You might also see Oregon’s Mount Jefferson. Special attractions: Outstanding views; wildflowers."
