In a deep, old-growth forest alongside sparkling Camp Creek sits this inviting campground, which makes an ideal base for exploring the Mount Hood area. The camp oozes charm with its many big trees and rich greenery. A small tributary through camp supports bountiful skunk cabbage, pungent in spring. The sites have defined, surfaced parking and are well spaced for comfort. Creek fishing, hiking, and sightseeing may pull you away from camp. The Pioneer Bridle Trail parallels US 26 at the north side of the campground, following the route of the Oregon Trail. Little Zigzag Falls and Flag Mountain Trails are not far from camp.
