The hike to Obsidian Falls is slightly up hill to start with incredible views at about the 3 mile mark. When you get to the Glacier trail take it to the left. This runs into the Obsidian trail above the falls and gives you a big payoff for your hard work. The trip back is mostly down hill back to the parking. I would recommend this trail for hikers of every experience level.
