Minam State Park Professional Review and Guide
"This canyon campground occupies a flat above the Wallowa River, downstream from the Minam-Wallowa confluence. It offers groomed lawns, with paved roads and parking. Big ponderosa pines and smaller firs spot shade across the park grounds. A fuller wooded slope rises at the back of the camp, while cross-river views feature a steep canyon wall topped by a basalt crest. A foot trail and abandoned jeep trail downstream from the camp provide fishing access. Rafting and spring and fall steelhead fishing are popular."
