Huckleberry Mountain

Huckleberry Mountain Professional Review and Guide

"Trails 1667 and 1689 lead from Little Bear Creek Trailhead to Little Storm Lake. The track first climbs to the semi-open ridge of Huckleberry Mountain, which it follows for about 5 miles. The views are great along the ridge. Then you descend to campsites close to Little Storm Lake.

From the trailhead at 5,600 feet, pass the gate and hike south along the roadbed for 0.4 mile. Then turn left at the unmarked junction with the Huckleberry Mountain Trail. The junction is just after the roadbed crosses Little Bear Creek. Get your water here, as there may be none for the next 4 miles."
