Boundary Professional Review and Guide
"This rustic campground straddles the end of FR 8250.040, just before the Bear Creek Trailhead. Many of the sites line the shore of Bear Creek; most are fully shaded by the mature fir-spruce forest. While there are gravel parking pads, the narrowness of the road and the restricted mobility in the canyon make these sites better suited for tents. Bear Creek courses beautiful and clear; its parallel trail offers a fine introduction to Wallowa-Whitman National Forest and the Eagle Cap Wilderness."
