McKenzie River: Hayden Bridge to Armitage Park Professional Review and Guide
"This run makes an excellent canoe paddle close to Eugene and Springfield. Though it offers very few rapids, it is pleasant. The most difficult rapids are just above Armitage Park but can be avoided if desired. One of the most enjoyable parts of this float is gliding by the Coburg Hills. After finishing the run, Armitage Park makes a fine spot for a picnic. Character: agricultural; residential."
