did half the trail , the lower half , turning off 230 onto dirt road 6530. haymaker camp ground.if you want to make it a 8 mile round trip stay on 6530 past the split in the road to the left to haymaker camp ground, you will see the trail marker on left park their and walk, if you go to the bridge across the rogue turn around 0.1 tenth back to parking. if you want to make it a 10 mile round trip take the right to haymaker and start your hike their, at hay maker their is a walking bridge across the rogue ,you will see the trail head on your left. we parked on 6530 and hiked up to rough falls the 60 footer , and back for an 8 mile day trip. great hike, a smaller falls is about 1.5 miles in, keep in mind that on alot of these hikes you can go up and back half way and only need to take one car and still get a good hike in, next time we are going to the northern trail head and hike down to the falls and back still making an 8 miler, round trip, we try to start at the southern ends and hike up stream in the am, and down stream after lunch, but you do not need to.
