Red Butte is a hiking, biking, and horse trail in Douglas County, Oregon. It is within Umpqua National Forest. It is 21.3 miles long and begins at 1,430 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 42.9 miles with a total elevation gain of 7,831 feet. The White Creek Campground camp site can be seen along the trail. The trail ends near the Red Top Spring Helipond (elevation 3,825 feet) reservoir. This trail connects with the following: Cavitt Creek Spur, Johnnie Springs Road, Dumont Creek, Dumont Ridge, Old Red Butte, Cavitt Connection, Paradise, Upper Negro Creek, Cultus Creek and Upper Straight Creek.
