At this traditional hunter’s camp on Blue Mountain Scenic Byway, the sites occupy a full, mature forest of ponderosa pine and western larch at the edge of a wildflower meadow. Bridge Creek Interpretive Trail, located 2.4 miles northwest of the camp (toward Ukiah), offers a 0.5-mile walk on a gravel-surfaced trail to an overlook of the Bridge Creek drainage, where elk and other wildlife can be spied.
