Bear Wallow

Bear Wallow Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This campground rests at the foot of a slope of ponderosa pines where Bear Wallow Creek supplies a pleasant backdrop murmur. The slope holds many of the big redtrunked pines, with a few right in camp. The barrier-free Bear Wallow Creek Interpretive Trail leads you through the streamside habitat, where interpretive panels describe how the creek is managed for steelhead. Big larches, false hellebore bogs, and wildflowers add to the trail’s discovery."
