Forest Creek

Tygh Valley, Oregon

Forest Creek Professional Review and Guide

"Historically a wayside stop for pioneers, this small, quiet campground sits among ponderosa pines, hemlocks, cedars, spruce, and firs. It rests along Forest Creek on Old Barlow Road, part of the Oregon Trail. Barlow was an overland toll road that allowed pioneers to bypass the treacherous voyage on the Columbia River to reach the Willamette Valley’s fertile farmland."
