Target Meadows Professional Review and Guide
"This quiet campground occupies the spruce and true fir perimeter of Target Meadows, a moist, textured meadow expanse that is especially pretty when the stalks of false hellebore sport creamy floral crowns. Burnt Cabin Trailhead is found at the end of FR 050; the trail from there leads to the South Fork Walla Walla River. From the 1800s to 1906, Target Meadows was used as a US Army firing range; mounds in the area still hold cavalry bullets."
