Thompson Reservoir Professional Review and Guide
"This campground rests on the pine-forested north basin slope of Thompson Reservoir. The large, roundish irrigation reservoir has a piney rim, treed points, and a riddling of snags. Fishing boats (10 miles per hour) ply the clear, blue water. When the reservoir is full, so is this campground. Look for mergansers, bald eagles, ospreys, and migratory shorebirds and waterfowl."
