Moose Creek: Cub Creek to South Santiam River Professional Review and Guide
"Moose Creek, although short, is a nice intermediate run if you happen to be in the area. The run contains many short, fun boulder gardens and small ledges set in a pretty forested canyon. Most of the harder rapids cannot be seen from the road, but at most flows the rapids are easy to scout at river level. There is a tough rapid (class 4+) just upstream of the road bridge near the take-out that can be scouted by hiking down to the creek from the road. Character: forested."
