Southwest Shore Professional Review and Guide
"On the south shore of Phillips Lake, a large, recreational reservoir in the shadow of the Elkhorn Mountains, sits this popular campground with prized views. Sites receive a mix of sun and shade and are generally well spaced across the ponderosa pine and sagebrush flat. Fishing, boating, swimming, and hiking the south shore trail for photographs and nature study keep guests busy. At the marshy ends of the reservoir are nesting boxes for geese."
