These trails are in the Windy Lakes region of the Deschutes National Forest. Hundreds of tiny alpine lakes dot the area. Small rock outcroppings, dwarf conifers, and multitudes of mushrooms, moss, and ground covers provide this place with an other-worldly feel. This ride is a combination of a 7.7 mile loop and a 2.4 mile out-and-back. The trip includes 1.5 miles of dirt road, the rest is single-track. The ride starts at Summit Lake, approximately 45 miles southeast of Oakridge.
