McKenzie River: Paradise Campground to Finn Rock Professional Review and Guide
"A short distance below Paradise Campground, the McKenzie loses some of its continuous nature and takes on a pool drop character. A long boulder garden beginning at the town of McKenzie Bridge and ending above the covered Rainbow Bridge is one of the most significant rapids on this stretch. About 0.2 mile below Rainbow Bridge, where the river nears the main highway, is an S curve that ends in a rocky stretch with a strong diagonal wave on the right. Character: wooded; cabins."
